About the event
Youth Advocacy Nepal, in partnership with various organizations is organizing the three‐days‐long 2nd Nepal Youth SDG Summit 2020 from 24‐26 September, 2020. The event is being organized to mark the Global SDG Action Week 2020.
The summit aims to bring together more than 500 young people from around the world to discuss the various dimensions of SDGs and provide the feedback to concerned authorities. During the summit, a total of two panel discussions: “National Nepal Education Framework” and “Localization of SDGs through Youth Engagement” in 24th from 11:00-3:00 PM; VNR report Launch from youth perspectives on 25th from 3:00-5:00 PM; and Global Youth Meet-UP on 26th September 2020 from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM are planned.
Selected participants would be informed through email on a rolling basis.
Certificate would also be provided to the participants who successfully attend all three days.
About the organizer
Youth Advocacy Nepal is a movement-based youth organization dedicated to protect and promote the rights of young people. Initiated by a group of energetic and socially conscious young people, it was registered at District Administration Office, Kathmandu and affiliated to Social Welfare Council (SWC). Major working areas of the organization includes youth participation and leadership, education, gender equity and climate change.
