Virtual National Level MUN of Province No.1
Purbanchal United Nations Simulation is National Level MUN of Province No.1, Nepal which is scheduled for 7th and 8th August 2020 and falls under the Road to Everest International Model United Nations 2020 Campaign is organized by Youth Thinkers’ Society in collaboration with US Embassy Nepal through the Virtual platform.
During the conference, the participants will role-play as the delegate of a particular nation. The participants from different backgrounds will work on to achieve a common goal of bringing up innovative ideas and policies addressing the prevailing global issues through dialogue, debate and discussion. The format of discussion would be UNA/USA Model United Nations.
Delegates will have to be acquainted with the following responsibilities:
1. Follow the Rules of Procedures and the Conference Code of Conduct.
2. Arguments should be made in accordance with the policies of the country assigned.
3. The Position Paper should be submitted in the deadline.
4. Coordinate with dais members of the committee.
5. Extensive research should be performed on the agenda you are given
Terms and Conditions Eligibility
1. All the delegate participants must be under 30 years of age.
2. Participants must be enrolled in a high school, university, or be a recent graduate under the age of 30.
3. Any attempt to falsify the eligibility of delegates or violate the terms and conditions of the Purbanchal United Nations Simulation may be excluded from the participation in the conference and considered ineligible for further participation in the following years.
